I became a professional model 4 years ago, when I was scouted online.
5. What did you do before you became a model?
I was in high school while I was starting to model locally. I went to college for a year, and then started modeling professionally when I was scouted and started traveling the world – and I haven't looked back since!
6. What do your family and friends think about you being a model?
I am really lucky that I have such supportive friends and family. No matter what country I am in they are so proud of me and happy for me to have this opportunity. They keep me really grateful and grounded.
7. How did you feel during your first photo shoot?
Honestly, it was really intimidating; it takes awhile to get used to being so vulnerable in front of strangers. It's crazy, because now I barely even get nervous in front of the camera anymore, it's like it's not even there!
8. What is your favourite part of being a model?
Probably all of the amazing creative, like-minded people that I get to work with. Also the traveling, they go hand-in-hand, as I have met such amazing people all across the globe.
9. What is your beauty routine?
I like to use natural products as much as possible. I also never wear makeup, unless I have to, as I love being natural. I am a pretty simple, low-maintenance person despite the cliché model title.
10. What is one makeup product you can’t live without?
Mascara. It's all I wear, if I do end up wearing makeup outside of work. Mascara is all you need.

It gets really difficult and stressful when your job is relying on what you look like, but doing something that you like will make you enjoy it and stick with it longer. I personally love yoga and just exploring cities by walking around everywhere.
12. Who is your biggest inspiration in the fashion industry?
Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss, because they are more than just models. They are doing more for themselves and inspiring people everyday through acting, learning programs, and charities. I always have high respect for models who go out there and always do more than just pose.
13. What are your model goals?
My goals are to travel the world by expressing myself creatively. To be inspired and inspiring to like minded people, and to create and collaborate with people and ideas and be more than just a pretty face.
14. What are you looking forward to most about coming to India as a model?
The people, culture, fooood, yoga, history, fashion, and experience! I have never been to India and I have always wanted to go. I am so grateful my job allows me to travel around the world to markets some only dream of. Each journey makes me learn so much about myself and I am so happy to be able to experience this much diversity!
15. What advice would you give to an aspiring model?
To honestly just be and love yourself. Because, at the end of the day, you are who you are, and you are the one who has to live with you. So if someone doesn't like you for who you are, walk away, because there are people out there who will love you for everything you are instead of something you are not. That is really important in this superficial industry. Have thick skin, and just be you.
