  1. Name:

Anastasiia Venher

  1. Nationality:

Ukrainian

  1. How did you become a model?

When I was 17 I studied at a modelling agency, learning catwalk, photography and makeup. After I finished my course I began to book work with photographers and expand my portfolio.

  1. What did you do before you became a model?

Prior to modelling I studied to become a makeup artist and worked in this field.

  1. What are your biggest passions in life?

I am very creative and enjoy expressing this through my makeup.I am also very passionate about keeping healthy and active - I love to play tennis and handball.

  1. What is your favourite part of being a model?

I love the whole process – from hair and makeup to receiving the pictures after shooting.I especially love getting to work with creative teams of people to create something great.

  1. What is you favourite shoot that you have done and why?

I love all of my shoots, however there was one in particular where we shot wedding dresses for a magazine. This was magical and it was every girl’s dream wedding.

  1. What is your beauty routine?

My beauty routine doesn’t stray far from your everyday standards. I look after my skin by cleansing, toning and moisturising. I occasionally like to use facemasks and scrubs when my skin needs it.

  1. What is one makeup product you can’t live without?

I absolutely can’t live without my eyebrow pencil! Thick, luscious brows are so in fashion at the moment and I love the way eyebrows can frame your face.

  1. Who is your biggest inspiration in the fashion industry?

Cara Delevingne is my biggest inspiration. She is a great role model for young women as she is open and confident in her own skin. I also think she is extremely talented – producing amazing work in both the fashion and acting industries.

  1. What are three pros and three cons of being a model?

Three cons of being a model are the long days involved in shooting that can be very tiring; trying to meet client’s needs and ideas; and the travel involved in the industry can be very intimidating. However, in saying that, the pros greatly outweigh the cons. I love that I get to work with so many incredible people all the time, I love that it is always a new and exciting experience – its far from boring and finally I love getting dolled up to look like a princess with professionals constantly doing my hair and makeup.

  1. What would your dream job as a model be?

I dream of being on the cover of Harper's Bazaar Magazine.

  1. What are your model goals?

I would love to become one of the top models of the world and prove that I can do it! That is my ultimate goal.

  1. What is your favourite part of working as a model in India?

I love the locations I have been fortunate to work in. Such as, one shoot I did was in an amazing Indian castle – it was beautiful. The Indian styling is exquisite and I love the collaborations created here.

  1. What advice would you give to an aspiring model?

Don’t listen to anyone who tries to put you down or who tells you that you can’t do it. Trust in your own abilities and believe in yourself, and you will go far!
